Mercury at Evening
In the second half of February, the planet can be found in the evening sky, shortly after the Sun sets down. The best opportunity to see Mercury will be on February 27 about 1.5 hour after Sun's setting, when it will be be about 18 degrees over south-west horizon and quite bright (-0.4mag). This is the best evening apparition of Mercury in year 2019, so try it!
Venus at Morning
Venus remains very bright (around -4 mag) on the morning sky. On February 18 morning, there will be the nice and close conjunction with Saturn, whereby the distance of both planets will be only 1 degree. Do not miss it!
Moon: Special Full Moon
On February 19, there will be full moon and also the Moon will be closest to the Earth (so called `perigeum'). It means that the Moon's diameter will be the largest, about 33.5 arc-minutes.
