Phases of the Moon

First Quarter:October 05

The planet remains quite close to the Sun during October and most probably will not be seen by naked eye in the evening sky.

Jupiter and Saturn

Both giant planets can be observed on the evening sky. The Moon will be about 1 degree north from Jupiter on October 3, and about 1 degree south from Saturn on October 5.
